Some Very Special People

This was the first time Shayne held Noah and they hit it off right away. Noah thought his grandad was so cool he just kept laughing at him. It was too cute.

Blessing BBQ

We decided to have a BBQ at the park for the baby, the day before his blessing. It was a great time for family and friends to get together and visit. Here are some pictures of some of the people there.

Noah Chillin' like a villain

What a beautiful day. It was perfect California weather. I have to say "Thank You" right away to Shayne, Michelle and Tracy for coming. I know that many sacrifices were made on both sides to be there.

It was a very emotional day for me and the gratitude I felt for all the people around me and towards Heavenly Father was overwhelming. I was amazed to look up and see that my husband was blessing my son and that the most important men in Noah's life were there. For those of you reading this, the men in the circle were Cristian, Raul, Tracy, Shayne, and Gilberto. I hope that one day Noah looks back at his blessing pictures and feels the strength of the priesthood that was there that day.

37 Weeks and Counting

I am 37 weeks along now and thought that I should post a few more recent pictures of me and the baby. I am feeling really good and just trying to do all the right things so this baby will come naturally. I am loving this last little while because he is moving all day long and I love to be able to feel the bottom of his foot when he moves it along my belly. He continues to have his head down but is not in the pelvis yet. I went to the doctor yesterday and it turns out I have been having fake contractions for about a month and I didn't even know it. She asked if I have been having contractions and I said no. Then when she was measuring me she said I was having one right then. I told her, in that case, I have been having those for a while. I had no idea. What a dope. I just thought it was the baby.

This was at Angel's birthday. It is Rosa, Me, my mom Martha, and my niece Elanni.

This is my just a few days ago.

America....Aguilas!!!

America vs. Morelia
For Angel's birthday we took him to see the America vs. Morelia game in San Jose. It was such a fun day and I think that we all enjoyed ourselves and to top it off America won 2-1. We started off the day by picking the boys up early and going to the San Jose Flea Market. They each got to pick something out and Angel got candy and Yahir got a spongebob hat.

Once we got to the game we decided to paint our hair and make our poster. This year Cris came up with a poster that read "Gracias Dios por otro Americanista" This means "Thank Gosh for another America fan" and then there is an arrow pointing to my belly. We always try to bring a poster so that we can get on TV. We did get the cameraman to film me but we are not sure it was on TV.

You would not believe how many America fans there were. By far, at least 2/3 were America fans. Poor Morelia, they were getting BOOOOOOOOed the whole time and America was playing great. People had huge cloth signs that would be passed so everyone in the stands could hold it at the same time. There was even colored smoke and people playing drums while we all sang America songs. So much fun. But boy was it hot.

This is Angel's favorite player Guillermo Ochoa. He didn't even play during the game though because he is going to be playing for the national team and couldn't risk getting injured.
