37 Weeks and Counting

I am 37 weeks along now and thought that I should post a few more recent pictures of me and the baby. I am feeling really good and just trying to do all the right things so this baby will come naturally. I am loving this last little while because he is moving all day long and I love to be able to feel the bottom of his foot when he moves it along my belly. He continues to have his head down but is not in the pelvis yet. I went to the doctor yesterday and it turns out I have been having fake contractions for about a month and I didn't even know it. She asked if I have been having contractions and I said no. Then when she was measuring me she said I was having one right then. I told her, in that case, I have been having those for a while. I had no idea. What a dope. I just thought it was the baby.

This was at Angel's birthday. It is Rosa, Me, my mom Martha, and my niece Elanni.

This is my just a few days ago.

America....Aguilas!!!

America vs. Morelia
For Angel's birthday we took him to see the America vs. Morelia game in San Jose. It was such a fun day and I think that we all enjoyed ourselves and to top it off America won 2-1. We started off the day by picking the boys up early and going to the San Jose Flea Market. They each got to pick something out and Angel got candy and Yahir got a spongebob hat.

Once we got to the game we decided to paint our hair and make our poster. This year Cris came up with a poster that read "Gracias Dios por otro Americanista" This means "Thank Gosh for another America fan" and then there is an arrow pointing to my belly. We always try to bring a poster so that we can get on TV. We did get the cameraman to film me but we are not sure it was on TV.

You would not believe how many America fans there were. By far, at least 2/3 were America fans. Poor Morelia, they were getting BOOOOOOOOed the whole time and America was playing great. People had huge cloth signs that would be passed so everyone in the stands could hold it at the same time. There was even colored smoke and people playing drums while we all sang America songs. So much fun. But boy was it hot.

This is Angel's favorite player Guillermo Ochoa. He didn't even play during the game though because he is going to be playing for the national team and couldn't risk getting injured.

Motorcycle Grandpa

Raul got himself a motorcycle about two months ago. He has been wanting one for a long time and he finally got it. We all joke around about how the baby is going to say that he has the coolest Grandpa because his Grandpa has a motorcyle.
For Father's Day we decided to get him a leather jacket to go with his motorcyle. He loved it and it looks great.

Raul with his new jacket.

Rosa was so nervous at first about the bike but now she gets on and goes on rides.

I love motorcycles. I can't wait till I get a chance to have a ride on it.

Fourth of July

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays; maybe because the next day is my birthday. But honestly I love the fireworks and how when they go off the anthem is playing in the background. It helps me to remember and appreciate this country and all the blessings it brings to my family. It also helps me to remember the people in my family who have fought for the very rights that I enjoy.
Gotta love fireworks!!!

There was so much smoke and Angel and Yahir were running through it every chance they got.
Both Cris' family and mine brought fireworks and we spent a good hour and a half after the big fireworks shotting off our own. So much fun and lots of laughs.

Danny even hung out with us and had a good time. Go Fourth of July.

Angel's Birthday

This was Angel's 11th birthday.
He had friends and family come and have a soccer themed swim party.
Angel is so cold because he just got out of the pool; but what a smile!

All his friends and family come to celebrate.

His older brother Danny just chillin'

and of course the infamous Coaster.

Angel had a great time and was given some really cool gifts; some awesome clothes from friends, a ripstick from his parents, and tickets to the America Morelia game from Cris and I. He was most excited I think when his two friends from school came and he could hang out with them.
