Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so much fun. We had it at my mother-in-law's club house. There was 25 or more of us there. We ate, played pool, and watched movies on the big screen. It was so nice to get together with everyone and celebrate all that we are thankful for. I am especially grateful to have our family near us and those that are far we are blessed to see on a regular basis. Noah was the center of attention and he just loved it.
All the cousins: Daniella, Yahir, Tasha, Noah, Victoria, America, Nathan, Dante.

Aunts and uncles all gathered.

I made my very first pie this year. I made an apple pie with these little cut out hearts. Very cute. It was so nice to just relax, watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, hang out with Noah and then make the pie. Great day.

Items found....?

Items found...anyone missing some teeth or thumbs because Noah found them? At three months he was sucking his hand non-stop. Then he found his thumb and starting sucking that. Then Cris realized that he had teeth. He got his first two bottom teeth at three months and now at 4.5 months he has 4 bottom teeth.

Three Months Old

What a cutie!
These are his three month pictures that I am posting now that he is 4.5 months. He is getting so big so fast I can't keep up with him. Everyday is something new and everyday there is something else he outgrew. But I love it. I love to just watch him and know that he is learning something a that moment. Very cool. Right after this picture Cris realized that Noah had two teeth coming in and that was why he had been so upset lately. I will post those pics in the next one. Now at 4.5 months he has four teeth. Can you believe it. I had no idea babies could get teeth this early. But he does and it is a little hard because I don't like to give babies tylenol and he is still only 4 months but sometimes I just have to anyway. Plus since his mouth hurts he has a hard time nursing or taking a bottle so we have started him on some rice cereal 2 times a day which he just gobbles down. Even with the teething he is still so happy. He loves watch people and he will stare at them without blinking for a really long time.

Halloween

Since the last post we have had our first Halloween and Thanksgiving together and Christmas is only 2 days away. Sorry I just can't seem to keep up with this blog. But here is a cute picture of Halloween. Cris was "Mike Myers" and Noah was Bugs Bunny and I was a carrot. We had a small party at my house for family and friends and during the pary Cris and his brother Angel would hide on the side of the house and as the trick or treaters would leave they would pop out and scare them. It was pretty funny (not the little kids though).

Two months old

These are Noah's two month hold pictures. Boy does time fly and actually I am writing this post and he will be three months old in a couple of days. Boy does time fly. He looks like a big boy in his jeans and first pair of converse (thanks to his uncle Dani). I watch him do new things every day and it is amazing.

Cousin Fun

Elanni loves to spend time with Noah. She makes faces at him and calls him the "little prince" or the "little pooch". When I was pregnant my mom would ask me how my little pooch was; meaning how was the baby, and Elanni just thought that was his name. When we see eachother on saturdays, she wants to be a little mom and help me with everything. When Noah is crying she tells me what she thinks he needs etc. It is very cute when she is protective of him.

Hair Cut

I have always liked my hair long but lately, every time I go to the salon, I come back with my hair shorter and shorter. This picture was one haircut ago. Today I went and it is another 2 inches shorter than in this picture. So I think I have changed my mind...I like my hair shorter now. Plus it is easier to do and is just so much more fun.

Bath time

Just like everyone in my family, Noah loves water. Since the first time we put him in the bath he was smiling and laughing. I even take him in the shower and he loves it. We can't pry his cousin Elanni away from the swimming pool in the summer and I think Noah will be the same.

Daddy Time

Noah spends alot of time with daddy. Since Cris gets home at 3:45pm, and I am still working until 6pm, he takes Noah and they hang out...mostly sleeping but lucky them.

Cris and Noah were dressed in "America" jerseys for the big "America vs. Chivas" game.
Here they are watching Uncle Yahir's soccer game.

Sleeping together.

Cris was swinging him and Noah started laughing at him.

The many faces of Noah a.k.a. "Moso"

"MOSO"
I should first explain this title. I started telling Noah "que precioso mi hermoso" which translates to mean "how precious my beautiful" and then I just started calling him "hermoso" all the time and that got turned into "Moso". Now everyone calls him that; even my daycare kids call him that. (It is even cuter when they do it.) So I don't think it is a nickname he will like as he gets older but oh well it has stuck now. That is how he got his name also...we were thinking of different names, Noah, Luke and a few others but then Cris' brother Yahir started calling him baby Noah even when he was in tummy and it just stuck. We couldn't call him anything else after that.
Since I have not updated since September, here a just a few cute faces he makes just as an update.
He thinks he is so funny. Here he is in his swing and above him is a mirror; once he sees himself he starts laughing like this. It is very cute.

Oh yes..you didn't think my son only laughed!!!

This is at one month old. I think he looks surprised.

This is his "wanna fight" face. At 1.5 months he started to put his fists up like that and make that face. I am not sure what he is trying to say but it looks like he is picking a fight.

So tired .

Some Very Special People

This was the first time Shayne held Noah and they hit it off right away. Noah thought his grandad was so cool he just kept laughing at him. It was too cute.

Blessing BBQ

We decided to have a BBQ at the park for the baby, the day before his blessing. It was a great time for family and friends to get together and visit. Here are some pictures of some of the people there.

Noah Chillin' like a villain

What a beautiful day. It was perfect California weather. I have to say "Thank You" right away to Shayne, Michelle and Tracy for coming. I know that many sacrifices were made on both sides to be there.

It was a very emotional day for me and the gratitude I felt for all the people around me and towards Heavenly Father was overwhelming. I was amazed to look up and see that my husband was blessing my son and that the most important men in Noah's life were there. For those of you reading this, the men in the circle were Cristian, Raul, Tracy, Shayne, and Gilberto. I hope that one day Noah looks back at his blessing pictures and feels the strength of the priesthood that was there that day.

37 Weeks and Counting

I am 37 weeks along now and thought that I should post a few more recent pictures of me and the baby. I am feeling really good and just trying to do all the right things so this baby will come naturally. I am loving this last little while because he is moving all day long and I love to be able to feel the bottom of his foot when he moves it along my belly. He continues to have his head down but is not in the pelvis yet. I went to the doctor yesterday and it turns out I have been having fake contractions for about a month and I didn't even know it. She asked if I have been having contractions and I said no. Then when she was measuring me she said I was having one right then. I told her, in that case, I have been having those for a while. I had no idea. What a dope. I just thought it was the baby.

This was at Angel's birthday. It is Rosa, Me, my mom Martha, and my niece Elanni.

This is my just a few days ago.

America....Aguilas!!!

America vs. Morelia
For Angel's birthday we took him to see the America vs. Morelia game in San Jose. It was such a fun day and I think that we all enjoyed ourselves and to top it off America won 2-1. We started off the day by picking the boys up early and going to the San Jose Flea Market. They each got to pick something out and Angel got candy and Yahir got a spongebob hat.

Once we got to the game we decided to paint our hair and make our poster. This year Cris came up with a poster that read "Gracias Dios por otro Americanista" This means "Thank Gosh for another America fan" and then there is an arrow pointing to my belly. We always try to bring a poster so that we can get on TV. We did get the cameraman to film me but we are not sure it was on TV.

You would not believe how many America fans there were. By far, at least 2/3 were America fans. Poor Morelia, they were getting BOOOOOOOOed the whole time and America was playing great. People had huge cloth signs that would be passed so everyone in the stands could hold it at the same time. There was even colored smoke and people playing drums while we all sang America songs. So much fun. But boy was it hot.

This is Angel's favorite player Guillermo Ochoa. He didn't even play during the game though because he is going to be playing for the national team and couldn't risk getting injured.

Motorcycle Grandpa

Raul got himself a motorcycle about two months ago. He has been wanting one for a long time and he finally got it. We all joke around about how the baby is going to say that he has the coolest Grandpa because his Grandpa has a motorcyle.
For Father's Day we decided to get him a leather jacket to go with his motorcyle. He loved it and it looks great.

Raul with his new jacket.

Rosa was so nervous at first about the bike but now she gets on and goes on rides.

I love motorcycles. I can't wait till I get a chance to have a ride on it.
